Where Do Reddit Saved Posts Go? How to Find and Clear Them

Reddit saved posts live on your profile’s Saved tab. On the website, open your profile and choose Saved. In the official app, open your profile, open the menu, and choose Saved. From there, switch between posts and comments if needed. Reddit’s own help covers the exact taps; treat Saved as a short review list, not a searchable archive.

How to open Saved on web and mobile

On reddit.com, use the overflow menu on a post to Save, then open your profile and click the Saved tab. On iOS and Android, Reddit documents saving from the overflow menu, then opening Saved from your profile menu. A desktop shortcut many people bookmark is reddit.com/user/me/saved — useful if you keep forgetting which avatar menu hides it.

That answers where the posts went. It does not explain why the same list feels impossible to use six months later.

Saved has no real search—so treat it like a queue

Reddit’s Saved feed is reverse chronological. There is no native filter for “career advice,” “recipes,” or “that salary thread from last spring.” You scroll, or you give up. That design is fine for a dozen intentional saves. It collapses when Saved mixes memes, shopping links, long guides, and comments you meant to reply to someday.

The fix is not a clever third-party archive for every save. It is fewer saves that still deserve a next action, and a weekly pass that decides what those actions are.

The 15-minute Saved triage

Open Saved and work from the oldest items you can reach. Decide once per item, then stop when the timer ends.

  1. Read or watch now: finish the thread, recipe, or guide if it still matches a current need. Then Unsave unless it becomes a lasting reference.
  2. Keep as a reference: copy the durable link into a named library (notes app, bookmark tool, or a single “keep” shelf) with one line of context—why it matters.
  3. Unsave: the deal ended, the advice aged out, the joke is gone, or you cannot remember why you saved it. Reddit only stores a pointer; deleted posts already show as gone.

Stop the pile from growing back

Before you save the next post, name the job: read tonight, use this weekend, or reference. If you cannot name one, let the feed move on. Reddit Saved is private to you, but privacy is not the same as usefulness.

When a Reddit post is really a YouTube video, a product page, or another link you intend to act on, the platform Saved tab is a weak to-do list. LinkRot is being built as the iOS queue for those cross-platform decisions—watch, keep, or clear—without replacing Reddit itself or snapshotting every thread.

FAQ

Where are my Reddit saved posts on iPhone?

Open your profile in the official Reddit app, open the menu near the top, and choose Saved. Reddit’s help centre documents the same path; menus can move, so check its current iOS FAQ if yours looks different.

Can I search my Reddit saved posts?

Not inside Reddit’s Saved tab. You scroll in reverse order. If retrieval matters more than a quick revisit, keep fewer saves or move durable references into a tool that supports search and labels.

How do I unsave a Reddit post?

Open the post’s overflow menu and choose Unsave, or remove it from the Saved list the same way. Clear in small batches; a panic purge rarely teaches a better save habit.

LinkRot puts every “watch later” link in one queue that rots until you deal with it. iOS — grab it on the App Store.
